QA Performer is a multi-platform load testing tool designed to predict the reliability of client/server applications before they deploy. Its unique point-and-click capabilities for the first time provide organizations with the ability to create load and performance tests for use during the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of client/server applications. QA Performer can simulate up to 300 users per single NT workstation, and workstations can be linked together to simulate an unlimited number of users. QA Performer’s ability to work throughout the application life cycle—not just at the end of development, when it is typically too late and too costly to make needed changes—enables developers and QA engineers to design it right the first time and to catch costly performance problems. QA Performer’s Wizard steps you through a simple 3-step process which automatically generates and runs a load test. Because QA Performer executes its tests from a client machine, it doesn’t impact the load testing or require a dedicated server. It features powerful reporting and modeling tools and is integrated with the QualityWorks family of testing tools. QA Performer runs on Windows 3.x, Windows 95 and Windows NT. It supports all ODBC-compliant databases on UNIX, AS/400, Windows NT and OS/2 servers, including those from Microsoft, Oracle, Sybase, Informix and IBM.
